DPC for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B for the year 2013-14....an update

Today (30/7/2013), it is confirmed that following 7 circles representatives yet to hand over the CRs/APARs and requisite information to Directorate for convening DPC for the promotion to PS Gr. B for the year 2013-14. 

1. Bihar 2. Haryana 3. Jammu & Kashmir 4. Jharkhand 5. Kerala   6. North East   7. Uttar Pradesh 

Due to non submission of requisite documents in person by Circles, the DPC work is badly delayed. GS has already requested all CS and concerned circles office bearers to meet with the concerned officer/s who is dealing the work at circle office and request him/her to submit the requisite documents immediately to Directorate and CS may also take up this issue with CPMG. The target date given by Directorate is already over.

Revision of Monetary Ceiling for Purchase / reimbursement of Brief Case-Odisha Circle

Circle Secretary, All India Association of Inspectors and Assistant Superintendents of Posts, Odisha Circle Branch has written to the Chief Post Master General (Now Principal Chief Postmaster General), Odisha Circle  vide Association Letter No.AIAIPASP/Corr-1/11/2013 dated 12/4/2013  requesting for raising the limit of the cost of Brief Case for supply to all IPs/ASPs and other touring officers. Considering the request, Shri Sarit Ku. Chakrabarti, Principal Chief Postmaster General, Odisha Circle, Bhubaneswar-751001 has now increased the limit of Cost of Brief Case for IPs/ASPs from ₹2,000/- to ₹4,000/- and reduced the periodicity from 4 years to 3 years with effect from 01.07.2013.

LDCE for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B for the year 2013....an update

Today, it is learnt from Directorate that, there is no progress in recasting of marks of LDCE for the promotion to PS Gr. B examination 2012 held on 3rd June 2012. Recently Directorate has received one serious representation from one candidate and decisions on various representations including CAT cases received earlier in the issue are yet to be taken by the competent authority. Therefore LDCE for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B examination for the year 2013 is likely to be delayed.

Filing up CAT case for upgradation of GP of IPs at Ernakulam Bench....an update

OA No. 289/13 filed by the CHQ came up before the Registrar's Court of CAT Eenakulam today. The Department filed reply statement refuting the contentions raised by the Association and applicants in the OA and sticking to its earlier stand. Copy of the reply filed by Department will be uploaded immediately on receipt of the same from our Counsel. We have to file additional reply statement immediately. The case stands posted to 8th August 2013 before the Registrars Court.
