NITI Aayog Website Launched

Dr. Arvind Panagariya, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog, launched the beta version NITI Aayog website here today. The website can be accessed on the following url:

http://www.niti.gov.in

The website provides details of the constitution, functions and current activities of the NITI Aayog. The reports prepared by the institution in its initial stages have also been shared on the website. The website has a unique feature of NITI Blogs, which will incorporate articles, field reports, work in progress, and opinions by NITI officials.

The final website is under construction and will be updated soon.

The launch of the website was also attended by Ms. Sindhushree Khullar, CEO, NITI Aayog, and Dr. Bibek Debroy and Dr. V. K. Saraswat, Members, NITI Aayog.

Transfer/posting of the JTS officers of IPoS, Group "A"

Sh. Vickey Kumar (IPoS-2010), SSRM, Air Mail Stg. Dn. has been transferred and posted as ADG (IM), Postal Directorate vice Sh. Sunil Kumar proceeding on deputation to APS.

Promotion and allotment of PS Group "B" officers to JTS of IPoS, Group "A" (PB-3, Rs.15600-39100+GP Rs.5400

The President is pleased to order promotion of 35 officers of PS Group "B" cadre to the JTS of IPoS, Group "A" on regular basis.
Following two officers from Delhi Circle have been promoted :-
1. Sh. Girish Chandra Pant (28.06.58) working as CPM, Delhi GPO has been promoted and allotted to Delhi Circle.
2. Sh. Ravi Pahwa (23.12.73) working as SSPOs, ND West Dn. has been promoted and allotted to Postal Directorate.

Cadre restructuring of Inspector Posts Cadre and merger of ASP cadre in to PS Gr. B cadre

It is learnt that clarification given by Association on 11/5/2015 on three queries is appreciated by Directorate and it has been decided to move our cadre restructuring file at the earliest to Nodal Ministry that too before end of this month.

6th Cadre Review of Indian Postal Service (IPoS) have already been approved by Secretary (Posts)  and presently file is sent by DoPT to Department of Expenditure (DoE) for approval of Secretary (Expenditure).
